Chemical Tempered Glass

Chemically tempered glass is obtained by immersing normal glass in a chemical solution (KNO3) heated at high temperature for a certain time, to enhance the surface strength through compressing stress layer being formed on the glass surface by ion substitution between Na ions to K + .
The chemically strengthened glass is mainly used for the solidification of thin glass with a thickness of 0.5mm to 3mm.
